Monday, Snow College sophomore men’s basketball guard Brock McClure was named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

McClure averaged 19.3 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Badgers during their sweep of South Plains, Lamar and Hill last week at the Texan Dome of Levelland, Texas.

On the season, the native of Lumberton, Texas is averaging 14.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for the Badgers.

McClure and his Badgers teammates, who improved to 11-0 on the season and retained their No. 2 national ranking, return to action Friday by hosting Western Nebraska at the Snow College Holiday Invitational for a 7:30 pm tipoff.
