McClanahan Returns To UVU As Men’s Basketball Assistant

OREM, Utah-Wednesday, Utah Valley head men’s basketball coach Todd Phillips confirmed the return of former Wolverines standout Jaden McClanahan to the program as one of his assistants.

Playing at UVU from 2020-24, McClanahan posted 6.7 points and 3.2 assists per game for the Wolverines.

McClanahan also starred at Independence CC of Independence, Kan., prior to coming to UVU during the 2019-20 season.

A native of Richmond, Calif., McClanahan also starred at Salesian College Prep, earning league MVP and all-tournament honors for the Pride.

McClanahan earned an undergraduate degree in business from UVU and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the university.
