ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Dixie State men’s golf standout Nicklaus Britt, a former Millard High star, is in 22nd place after the first day of competition at the Ledges during the Dixie State Regional Preview.
Britt is shooting a 71 thus far, putting himself in the second position on the Trailblazers’ squad while Dixie State is currently in fifth place after Day 1 of play.
Chico State (Calif.) is currently in first place at -14 and Jake Quast of Dominican (Calif.) is the top individual performer thus far, shooting a -6 for the Penguins.
The tournament concludes Tuesday.
