STAMFORD, Conn.-Wednesday, as the XFL Draft concluded, former BYU safety Micah Hannemann was selected by the Tampa Bay Vipers, with their sixth of 10 defensive back selections.

Hannemann starred with the Cougars in 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2017, posting four career interceptions (including one returned for a score), 14 passes defensed, one sack, 2.5 tackles for a loss and 123 total tackles.

Hannemann was the last XFL draft pick from a Utah-based school.
