ROUND ROCK, Texas-Josh H. Smith and Melbrys Viloria each recorded RBI and the Round Rock Express edged Salt Lake 3-2 Wednesday at Dell Diamond.

Tyson Miller earned the win on the mound for the Express, improving to 2-0 on the season. Miller posted five strikeouts in five innings of work for Round Rock.

Matt Thiass homered in the loss for the Bees.

The Express improved to 14-6 with the win. Salt Lake fell to 9-11 in defeat.
