ST. GEORGE, Utah-Matt Conway posted 23 points and 12 rebounds as the Dixie State Trailblazers won their sixth game in their last seven contests in edging Adams State 71-70 Saturday at Burns Arena in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action.
Julien Ducree added 19 points and 6 rebounds for the Trailblazers, who improved to 11-8 and 9-6 in conference play.
John Dewey amassed 33 points and four assists on 12 of 24 shooting in the loss for the Grizzlies, which dropped them to 7-13 and 7-8 in league play.
Dixie State is next in action February 8 as their homestand continues by hosting the Western Colorado Mountaineers. They will entertain Colorado Mesa February 9 with both games at Burns Arena.
