ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kody Wilstead completed 18 of 29 passes for 341 yards and five touchdowns as the Dixie State Trailblazers hammered Adams State to end the regular season at 8-3 and have a successful Senior Day Saturday at Trailblazers Stadium in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

Receiver Dejuan Dantzler (6 rec, 108 yards, TD) and tight end Chase Hess (6 rec, 83 yards, 3 TD’s) were Wilstead’s key targets on the afternoon.

Eleven Trailblazers seniors were honored on the afternoon in Dixie State’s final game on the gridiron as an NCAA Division II school with head coach Paul Peterson’s squad going Division I next autumn.
