BYU Men’s Basketball Adds Noah Waterman From Transfer Portal

PROVO, Utah-Monday, BYU men’s basketball added Noah Waterman, a 6’11” 210-pound stretch forward from Detroit Mercy.

He officially visited the Cougars earlier this month, just days after he had made a commitment to St. Bonaventure.

The addition of Waterman, who averaged 8 points and 4.1 rebounds for the Titans last season, fills scholarship spots on the 2022-23 roster for BYU head coach Mark Pope’s squad.

Waterman made 17 starts last season for Detroit Mercy in 21 games.

Waterman has also played at Niagara during his collegiate career. In the 2019-20 season, Waterman averaged 7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the Purple Eagles.
