PROVO, Utah-Monday, BYU head football coach Kalani Sitake addressed media after the Cougars commenced their first spring practice of the season.
Other remarks were made by junior quarterback Jaren Hall and sophomore defensive lineman Tyler Batty.
Sitake stated he was impressed with Jaren (Hall) and the offense. Sitake also expressed appreciation for the new defensive players who showed up at camp.
Sitake is also pleased he has returning specialists in junior kicker Jake Oldroyd and sophomore punter Ryan Rekhow per further comments.
Hall said Day 1 of spring practice was exciting and is pleased with the depth at offensive line.
Batty confirmed that “it’s great to be back on the field with everyone.”
The Cougars have 19 returning starters on offense and defense from a 10-3 squad in 2021, as well as the return of Oldroyd and Rehkow.
