TACOMA, Wash.-Jo Adell, Jack Mayfield and Jose Rojas each homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Tacoma 10-3 Tuesday in Pacific Coast League play at Cheney Stadium.
Jake Kalish posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to improve to 8-2 on the season on the mound for the Bees.
Salt Lake put the game away with an eight-run 5th Inning and cruised to victory from that point on.
Brian O’Keefe homered in defeat for the Rainiers.
Salt Lake improved to 35-38 on the season by virtue of winning their third straight game. Tacoma fell to 28-44 with the loss.
The Bees and Rainiers meet again Wednesday at 7:05 pm MDT at Cheney Stadium.
This win was also the 150th in the career of Bees manager Lou Marson. The Angels’ organization appointed him to this position in 2019.
