ROUND ROCK, Texas-David MacKinnon homered twice and the Salt Lake Bees blanked Round Rock 2-0 Thursday at Dell Diamond in Pacific Coast League play.

Jhonathan Diaz earned the win on the mound for the Bees as he improved to 2-0 on the season. Diaz posted seven strikeouts in eight innings of work and surrendered only one hit to the Express.

The Bees improved to 10-11 on the season with the win.

The Bees and Express meet again Friday at 6:35 pm MDT.
