1-A Boys Golf
SALT LAKE CITY-The Wendover Wildcats posted a score of +71 in 710 strokes and won the 1-A boys golf state title Wednesday at Rose Park Golf Course of Salt Lake City.
The win was the Wildcats’ second all-time state title in school history and the first since a baseball title in 1995.
Wendover was represented by sophomore Avre Gomez (+12, 156 strokes), senior Easton Tangaro (+16, 160 strokes), freshman Trejin Tangaro (+39, 183 strokes), senior Jayden Murphy (+67, 211 strokes), freshman Sabastian Dorado (+78, 222 strokes) and sophomore Felipe Dorado (+128, 272 strokes).

SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, at Rose Park Golf Course of Salt Lake City, the Rich Rebels (+133, 421 strokes) won their third all-time state title and third such consecutive crown in the 1-A girls golf state tournament.
The Rebels were led by senior McKina Stacey (+133, 421 strokes), junior Natalee Parry (+43, 115 strokes), junior Hannah Rex (+32, 104 strokes) and junior Ambria Lutz (+37, 109 strokes)
