(Sandy, UT) — A 22-year-old woman is facing charges in connection with the theft of an urn containing the ashes of her roommate’s son. Authorities say Tianna Grace Talbot of Redmond was charged in 3rd District Court on Monday with abuse or desecration of a body and theft. In February, Sandy police were called to the scene of a theft of the urn and two necklaces. A surveillance video shows Talbot allegedly picking up the urn and putting it inside her jacket. The ashes were recovered by Sevier County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
