Wildfire Burns 150 Acres Near Hatch, Utah

(Hatch, UT) — A wildfire is burning in France Canyon, about six-point-five miles southeast of Hatch in Dixie National Forest. The fire started June 12th near the Garfield/Kane County line and has spread to 150 acres and remains zero percent contained as of last night. Officials say the most impacted areas include Blubber Creek, Badger Creek, Proctor, and Skunk Creek. The U.S. Forest Service says the fire is under their jurisdiction and was caused naturally.
