After two separate vehicle burglaries on the South-East side of the city, Salina City Police Department is reminding car owners to lock up their automobiles when they aren’t in use.
The SCPD says that the two vehicles that were hit by the burglars were most likely targeted because they were left unlocked. According to the SCPD Facebook page “In both incidents the thief targeted vehicles that were unlocked and had valuables inside.†The police would like to remind you to also keep your homes and garages locked and closed as well. If you suspect you may have been the victim of a theft, touch as little as possible and contact your local police department.
