(Salt Lake City, UT) — The regular primary election is today in Utah. Four Republican candidates in the state are vying to replace retiring U.S. Senator Mitt Romney including former state House Speaker Brad Wilson and U.S. Rep. John Curtis. Former President and presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has endorsed Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs in that contest. Jason Walton, who’s pitching himself as a businessman in the style of Trump, is also running. Primary voters in Utah will also choose candidates for governor, the U.S. House and the state Legislature. Voters can cast ballots until eight p.m. tonight.
