(St. George, UT) — Utah’s “100 Deadliest Days of Summer” is over with fewer car fatalities than in the past. Preliminary numbers show there were fewer traffic-related deaths between Memorial Day and Labor Day, dropping by roughly 18 percent. Law enforcement leaders told St. George News while the total number was down, the number of deaths involving motorcycles increased. The Utah Department of Public Safety asked motorcyclists to change the way they ride on state roads to avoid tragedy in the future.
