(Salt Lake City, UT) — Olympic planners here in Salt Lake City say they’re learning the lessons from Paris’ games. 2034 Olympic Committee president and CEO Fraser Bullock says they like how Paris added Olympic spaces in the city’s various neighborhoods. He’s looking into adding free spaces around the Salt Lake Olympics to get more people involved. Bullock says Paris’ planners made the games there a ‘ very deep experience for the community.’ And he said that’s something they’d like to try here.
