Utah National Guard To End COVID-19 Support Mission

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah National Guard will no longer be involved in the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Guard’s COVID-19 Joint Task Force announced yesterday that it was ending its mission after two years. Officials said it was one of the longest domestic missions in the history of the Utah National Guard, with over 700 soldiers and airmen activated to provide support. Governor Cox praised those Guard members yesterday, saluting for a job well done.
