(St. George, UT) — Utah is seeing some praise for its tax rates. Finance website WalletHub recently released a study showing which states had the highest and lowest tax rates, and how it impacts its residents. Dozens of indicators were used for the study, including effective income-tax rates. The Beehive State was rated 14th on the list with an effective tax rate of nine-point-seven-five percent on the median U.S. household. Neighbors Colorado and Nevada were among the states with a better tax rate.
