(Emery County, UT) — The Utah Highway Patrol says illegal drugs worth more than two-million dollars were seized during a traffic stop in Emery County. The UHP says a vehicle was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 70 on Monday morning. Troopers searched the vehicle after a police dog indicated drugs might be in the car. The search found about 70 pounds of suspected meth, 33 pounds of suspected fentanyl pills and smaller amounts of drugs identified as heroin and cocaine. The man and the woman inside the vehicle were charged with multiple drug felonies and were booked into the Emery County Jail.
