(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah law enforcement agencies are urging drivers in the state to slow down, buckle up and avoid driving while impaired. Authorities will track the “One-Hundred Deadliest Days” on the road between Memorial Day and Labor Day, which is the time period fatal accidents in the state increase. Utah has already seen 116 fatalities on the roads this year. UHP plans to ramp up patrols, specifically focusing on reckless drivers and drivers who are distracted, impaired or drowsy.
