(Midvale, UT)  –  The Utah Department of Transportation is ready to unveil a plan to reduce traffic backups on Interstate 15.  The proposal would add a lane to southbound I-15 from Salt Lake City to Draper and improvements to several interchanges.  UDOT hopes to have the plan finalized and begin construction sometime next year.  An open house on the project will be held tonight at Midvale Senior Center.Â
