Tyler Robinson Wants Private Hearing To Discuss Banning Cameras

(Provo, UT) — Tyler Robinson wants the public kept out of a court hearing next month where he’ll push for a ban on cameras and microphones in the courtroom. His lawyers say they want to discuss misleading media coverage behind closed doors so they don’t repeat inaccurate reporting in a public setting. The attorneys argue Robinson’s right to a fair trial is being jeopardized by media coverage. The 22-year-old is accused of shooting and killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk back in September.
