Around 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 18, emergency crews responded to a residential structure fire at 489 North 400 East in Richfield. According to a post on the Richfield City Police Facebook page, “at the time of the fire, one adult and two children were inside the home. Emergency Medical Services evaluated the adult on scene. The two children were transported to a local hospital and were later transferred north for additional medical treatment.” Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and the cause is under investigation by the Utah State Fire Marshal’s Office. No additional information is available at this time.
