SUU’s Enrollment Drops Dramatically

(Cedar City, UT)  –  Southern Utah University sees a dramatic drop off in students between its fall and spring semesters.  Its student count fell by over a thousand in this spring, more than double the drop off in the previous year.  The Salt Lake Tribune reports about 285 students graduated early but the school says despite the drop, no services to students are being affected.  Officials say most of the usual drop off between fall and spring comes from freshmen leaving due to poor grades or people who put their education on hold to work. Â
