(Salt Lake City, UT) — A controversial measure has narrowly passed the State Senate. House Bill 267 bans labor unions from collectively bargaining with employers. It now heads back to the State House to be signed by the Speaker, and will then go to Governor Spencer Cox’s desk for his signature. The Utah Education Association released a statement saying it “is deeply disappointed” by the passage.
