State Lawmakers Outline Legislative Priorities For Upcoming Year

(Salt Lake City, UT) — State lawmakers are laying out their priorities for the rest of this year. The Legislative Management Committee met yesterday at the State Capitol to outline areas for study before the next session of the legislature. Among the topics listed were the state economy, including possible tax cuts and responding to the high cost of living. Other priorities listed during the meeting were school vouchers, affordable housing, water conservation and a possible overhaul of the state’s medical cannabis system.
