(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that would give Utah a new state flag is moving the floor of the House. Senate Bill 31 was approved by the House Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee yesterday. The measure would adopt a new design for the state flag that includes a blue, white and red background as well as a beehive and star representing statehood. The bill has already been passed in the Senate.
