On Mar. 11, Snow College and Ephraim City signed a lease agreement for the historic Ephraim Co-operative Mercantile Association Building. The 15 year lease will allow the college to manage and preserve the facility. Snow College shared that they remain committed to keeping the building accessible to the public and tours will be available Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mar. 11 through Apr. 15. After that point, offices that will be open to the public, will be located on the main floor. The top floor will be used as a gathering place for college and community functions. In 1888, the top floor of the Co-op became the first home of Snow College, then known as Sanpete Stake Academy.
