(Salt Lake City, UT) — A man facing felony murder charges for shooting a woman outside a Salt Lake City nightclub is reportedly out on bail. Court documents reveal Dustin Pedersen was initially booked into the county jail without bail, but a judge reduced his bail to 100-thousand-dollars late last month. He was released the next day and is currently at his home in Kanab on confinement. Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill told its rare for bail to be granted when a suspect poses a risk to the community. Pedersen is scheduled to be back in court in April.
