A Sevier County man has been arrested and booking into the Sevier County Jail on three charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. According to court documents, police were first made aware of the alleged offense on Feb. 9, when a 15-year-old male Richfield High School student came forward disclosing he had been involved in a sexual relationship with Daniel Rickenbach, age 36 of Glenwood. The teen told police that they had started messaging on Instagram, and Rickenbach convinced the teen to sneak out with him on Dec. 21. The two allegedly drove to a discrete location and engaged in physical relations. He told police, afterward Rickenbach blocked him and didn’t contact him until Feb. 6. According to court documents, another boy that the teen had mentioned started receiving messages from Rickenbach and police believe he “is trying to manipulate multiple juvenile victims.” He is being held without bail.
