(Salt Lake City, UT) — The latest legislative session has brought on about 70 bills affecting the education system in Utah. One bill would make it easier to ban books in schools if passed by Governor Cox. Another would make it easier to open microschools and allow parents to apply for public money to pay for private education. There is also a bill that would allow more school employees to carry guns in schools.
