A public hearing will be head Tuesday, April 4 at 1:30 p.m. to discuss whether Sanpete County should withdraw from the Central Utah Water Conservancy District. After the Sanpete County Commissioners office published a notice with the intent to consider the withdrawal, there were several written objections. The meeting will provide statistics and paperwork involving Sanpete County taxpayers’ contributions to the CUWCD. The commissioners office main goal is to save that taxpayer money for county sponsored projects.
