Sanpete County Attorney’s Home Vandalized

Ephraim Police are asking for the public’s help after Sanpete County Attorney Kevin Daniels’ home was vandalized. Police responded around 3:00 a.m. July 16 and found Daniels’ porch on fire and a hate symbol spray-pained on his house. According to Deputy County Attorney Wesley Mangum, Daniels and his family were home at the time of the vandalism and Daniels used a garden hose on the fire until crews arrived. No injuries were reported. Police found a red swastika spray-painted onto Daniels’ garage door and more paint on his car. Ephraim Police are investigating this as an arson case and ask anyone with useful information to contact them at 435-283-4602.
