(Salt Lake City, UT) — Salt Lake City will host the 2030 State Games of America, the National Congress of State Games announced on Monday. The biennial event, bringing about 10-thousand amateur athletes to compete in over 40 sports, will mark Utah’s first time hosting since the event’s inception in 1999. The games will take place during the final week of July 2030, four years before the city hosts the 2034 Winter Olympics.
