(Tel Aviv) — Utah Senator Mitt Romney is okay after having to retreat to a shelter in Israel. The Republican was visiting the country yesterday when Hamas launched a rocket attack, sending Romney and other senators into a Tel Aviv shelter. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on social media their experience showed “what Israelies have to go through.” A picture from Schumer showed Romney and others waiting patiently in a room during the attack. War between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas has been going on since last weekend.
