(Salt Lake City, UT) — Senator Mitt Romney isn’t ready to count Ukraine out in their fight for freedom against Russian forces. Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union yesterday, the Utah Republican appeared hopeful that the upcoming meeting between Ukrainian and Russian delegations on the border of Belarus would go well. He stated that it was an opportunity for Putin to “[wise] up to the stupidity of what he’s doing.” Romney went on to call the conflict “the greatest example of good versus evil” that many have seen in our lifetime. He also praised Ukrainian President Zelenskyy [[ ze-LEN-skee ]] as a hero.
