Roadway Closed In Zion National Park

(Springdale, UT) — A major roadway in Zion National Park is closed because of a rock slide. The Zion-Mount Carmel Highway shut down yesterday in both directions. State Route Nine is closed from Canyon Junction to the park’s East Entrance. The Utah Department of Transportation says they’re working to clear rocks from the roadway’s switchbacks.
