(Richfield, UT) — Richfield Mayor Bryan Lewis Burrows admitted to illegally killing a deer on private property. Reportedly, Burrows called law enforcement himself after committing the crime, but law enforcement was first notified by the local dispatch center. He pleaded in abeyance to misdemeanor charges of unlawful taking of protected wildlife while trespassing and improper discharge of a weapon within 600 feet of a building. Under the agreement, he must pay a 690-dollar court fee and avoid legal violations for one year.
