(Salt Lake City, UT) — Thousands of Utah voters want their names removed from a petition that seeks to repeal Proposition 4. That’s the proposition that voters passed in 2018 to create an independent redistricting commission. The effort to repeal Prop 4 will only get on the ballot if organizers collect 141-thousand verified signatures. That effort is backed by the Republican Party. KSL estimates that 23-hundred people have asked to have their names taken off the petition. Some say they didn’t understand what they were signing.
