(Kane County, UT) — Authorities say human remains found in Kane County on Cedar Mountain last month belong to Courtney Lynne Townsend. Her burned-out car was found abandoned in a forest last November, and she was reported missing the following month. Police say they’ve been investigating the case for months, but snow on the ground prevented a thorough search of the area until recently. There’s no word yet on a cause of death.
