An old building in Richfield is no more after the Richfield City Fire Department held a controlled burn as part of a training exercise. The building located at the corner of 1300 South and Main Street was often referred to locally as the old Pizza Hut building. The building was scheduled for demolition and the fire department used the opportunity to get some hands on training. No plans were announced as to what that space will be used for in the future.
