MIDVALE, Utah-In news released to the public Monday, the Utah High School Activities Association, in conjunction with the National High School Activities Week, announced the Distinguished Service Award Class of 2023.

This includes several recipients from the Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network coverage area.

They are as follows:

Danny Yardley: 1A Coach of the Year (track and field/cross country) Panguitch High School. Yardley is also serving as an assistant on the Panguitch girls basketball coaching staff this season.

Cheryl Hadley: North Sanpete High School, athletic director of the year

Sarah Swapp: Female official of the year. Swapp serves as the director of the preview tournaments hosted by the Sevier Valley Center for four weeks annually each autumn.

Barrett Hilton: Distinguished media from TeamHive and CentraCom

Robert Lovell: Distinguished media from Mid-Utah Radio

An awards luncheon is slated for Wednesday January 17 at Siempre, near South Mountain Golf Course, of Draper.
