(Salt Lake City, UT) — This year’s Utah legislative session is over and it was a busy beginning of the year. The session concluded Friday after lawmakers passed nearly 600 bills concerning a number of different topics, including transgender healthcare and homelessness. The House and Senate also pushed through a school voucher program and raises for teachers. The legislature also moved forward with a projected 29-billion dollar budget that comes with tax cuts and money for water conservation projects.
