MT. PLEASANT, Utah (AP)-Wednesday, per a tweet from the official account of KUTV-2 News of Salt Lake City reporter Heidi Hatch, Mt. Pleasant Police are responding to the call of a 10-year-old being shot.
Police chief Jim Wilberg stated officers responded to a house on the report of the injured 10-year-old, as well as an 11-year-old, in the home.
The 10-year-old incurred a gunshot wound on the left side of his head, police said and was taken to Sanpete Valley Hospital by ambulance and later taken to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City Wilberg said.
No further information was immediately available and the incident remains under investigation at this hour.
