Mt. Pleasant City is getting some new city offices. The old Wells Fargo building across the street from city hall has been acquired and the city plans on expanding what has become a rather crowded city hall. The building is expected to house several new offices and serve as a storage facility.
The Utah Heritage Highway 89 Alliance arranged for the bank to be donated for city use. This means the city will only have to pay one dollar per year on its lease.
Wells Fargo closed its Mt. Pleasant location in May.
