(Salt Lake City, UT) — The deadline to have a Real ID for domestic air travel is here, and it looks like most Utahns are ready. The new compliant identification cards were needed to get through airport security and enter federal buildings starting yesterday. Passengers without a Real ID card may still be able to fly, but will face additional screening and have to wait in a separate line. According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, 99-point-five-percent of Utah residents already carry a Real ID card.
