Firefighting efforts continue against the Monroe Canyon Fire in Sevier County. As of last night the fire is still listed at 73,721 acres and containment has increased to 95 percent. There are currently 353 personnel assigned to fight the fire and suppression repair is estimated at 87 percent complete. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
