A man was arrested in Richfield after making terroristic threats. On Oct. 28, officers responded to an RV parked in the Dollar Tree parking lot that had been abandoned there for a few days. As the officers approached, they saw writing saying the vehicle was rigged with explosive gas. According to a booking affidavit, the owner of the RV, Scott Christopher Baugh, age 36, was located and confirmed that there was a pressurized nitrogen tank under the vehicle that he placed there. During questioning, Baugh denied that he rigged an explosive and said that he wrote the message in case the RV was towed. He was booked into the Sevier County Jail on one count of terrorism threats, a second-degree felony.
